Global Warming on Stones

Aside from heatstroke, sunburn and the basic personality altercations fostered by Global Warming, there is a more scientific and direct effect to human's medical condition. Global warming is proven to increase the risk of developing kidney stones, which are formed from "dissolved minerals in the urine caused by dehydration by not drinking or losing too much liquid due to heat." People from colder places, if transferred to warmer or humid places, have more chances in developing kidney stone disease. In United States alone, according to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in 2007, there is an expected 30% growth in kidney stone diseases in the driest areas. Not that Asians and other tropical countries are immune to it, we may just be the less sensitive ones.
